New Britney Single Expected To Be Released January 7, 2011
Coming from a reliable source, MuuMuse had this to add to the breaking news today.
Not finished celebrating Britmas yet? Good.
While some might call this vague speculation, you should know that I wouldn’t post an Excluusive unless I’ve been told something on very solid, reliable authority. Plus: I don’t fuck around when it comes to Godney Spears.
The first single from Britney’s as-of-yet untitled seventh studio album will be released in the first week of January. More specifically, I’m hearing Friday, January 7.
That’s honestly just the beginning–but I can say no more. I’m sorry!
Are you ready for what’s next?
ONE MONTH!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! *runs around frantically*
POPYOUARE’s Play Of The Day 12/1/10
Nadia Oh’s “Got Your Number” was released in 2008 and although it wasn’t a big hit on the radio, it’s a big hit with us! We love feel-good songs.
The production of the song is fantastic & her “speak-sing” vocals add to the effect of the whole track.
Ke$ha’s World Premiere Of “We R Who We R” Music Video
We give it a 3/10. Must say we’re quite disappointed. Judging from the video stills, we were expecting EPIC.
The video, it turns out.. not so much.
P!nk’s “Raise Your Glass” Set For #1 On Billboard Hot 100
P!nk is set to celebrate her third Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 on the chart to be released on Thursday (Dec. 2), as “Raise Your Glass” rises from #2 to #1.
The singer was last atop the list in September 2008 for a single week, with “So What.” P!nk’s first Hot 100 chart-topper came in 2001 on the collaborative “Lady Marmalade,” which included star turns by Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and Mya.
POPYOUARE’s Play Of The Day 11/30/10
“State of Grace”, an unreleased demo from the Blackout sessions recorded in 2006 shows Britney at her most creative. Unbelievable how some of the most amazing songs never make an album. That goes for all artists!
Produced by Harold Solomon, who also did Britney’s Breathe On Me from her 2003 In The Zone album.
We’d love if she went this route for the next album…
Updated Britney Single News
Yesterday it was reported that Jessie J, the co-writer on Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA”, is working on a Britney song.
In an interview with the UK’s “Sun” she explains:
“I received the beat to work with and it’s amazing. It’s pretty cool. I don’t think it will be what people expect. It’s more British than you would expect but with the Britney swag. People will be surprised. It could be the most amazing thing I’ve done.”
Today, she tweeted, hoping to clear up any confusion saying:
“Can I just say I NEVER said I wrote Britneys next single. I SAID I have been sent a BEAT to write a top line on. That DOES NOT mean it will be used nor does it mean it will be the single.”
Rihanna Makes History In The UK
“Who’s That Chick”, a track on Guetta’s album “One More Love” featuring Rihanna, will debut in the top 10 singles chart next week in the UK. The song will join fellow top-10ers “What’s My Name?” and “Only Girl” on the chart simultaneously.. making Rihanna the first female to have three top 10 singles on the chart at once.
The last person to do this was John Lennon in the 1970s.
Sound is my remedy, feeding me energy, music is all I need… congrats!
